Short version: You can delete your MaxiMoney account and personal data at any time, from inside the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by emailing nevaid@maximoney.in from the email address linked to your account. We aim to delete within 7 working days, and the deletion is permanent.

1. How to delete your account & data

Option A — from inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open the MaxiMoney app or visit credit.maximoney.in and sign in.
  2. Tap your avatar (top-right) → Profile.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Read the confirmation screen, then confirm with a fresh OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

The account is queued for deletion immediately. You will be signed out across all devices.

Option B — by email

Write to nevaid@maximoney.in from the email address registered on your account, with the subject line “Delete my MaxiMoney account”. Include your registered mobile number in the body. We may ask one verification question (e.g. last 4 digits of your PAN) before processing, to make sure we are deleting the right account.

Some data must be retained even after account deletion, only because law or financial regulation requires it. We minimise this to the legal minimum.

This retained data is segregated, encrypted, accessible only to a narrow set of named employees, and never used for marketing or product analytics.
